The First Aid at Work Refresher ------RENEWAL---- course includes practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid. The course is delivered over two consecutive days.

To be eligble for this course you must produce a VALID FIRST AID AT WORK CERTIFICATE WHICH MUST BE :-

• IN DATE AT THE START OF THE COURSE AND
• PRESENTED PRIOR TO BEING ACCEPTED ON THE COURSE

The award is valid for three years as of the date of assessment.

In order to re-qualify learners must be assessed against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria in the First Aid at Work course.

Level 2 Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis Management Qualification + 2 hours

(Separate Certificate issued)

This covers:- 

• What is anaphylaxis

• Triggers

• Sign and Symptoms

• Airways, Breathing, Circulation problems

• Treatment

• Safe use of an auto injector

• Preparing medication

• Using EpiPen, Jext and Emerade

• Hand over Needles and sharps

AED (Defibrillator) Course + 1.5 hours

(Separate Certificate issued)
